Smiles Dental is proud to make a positive impact in the lives of our patients and within the communities we serve. We are excited to share the details of our annual Gift of Smiles Day with you!

What is it all about?

Gift of Smiles is a day to give back to the community, especially to those who are unable to receive or afford regular dental care. The effort was started in 2009 and has become an annual event in our community. According to the US Department of Health and Human Services, approximately 108 million people in the United States are not covered by dental insurance. Even individuals covered by dental insurance find it difficult to get care due to cost and anxieties. We believe everyone should enjoy the benefits of a healthy, beautiful smile and started Gift of Smiles Day to give the community something to smile about!

In February 2017, our office will once again be hosting Gift of Smiles, a free dental day during which our doctor and clinical teams take care of patients at no charge!

This year, we are serving patients through the help and support of Sound to Harbor Head Start. Head Start provides low-income children an environment to develop their cognitive, social, and emotional growth. Head Start will be scheduling the children and families they work with to receive care during our Gift of Smiles effort. Our team is excited to partner with and support this organization.
